Our church is a member of Associated Christian Ministries and is connected to over 1,000 charismatic churches worldwide under this umbrella. We are also affiliated with Full Gospel Assembly Kuala Lumpur, a vibrant 8,000 member strong church in Malaysia. We have a multicultural congregation from various nations, cultures and walks of life. As a charismatic church we remain open to the gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit while adhering to the basic tenets of evangelical faith. The vision of FGA Melbourne is to help people fulfill the Great Commandment to love God wholeheartedly and the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). We achieve this by promoting and strengthening Christ-centered relationships within families and communities. Relationship is our core value and the means by which ministry is done. As a church we provide creative and stimulating activities for children, youth, young adults, families and seniors. We have a variety of small groups (Cells) catering to the different needs of individuals and families. The church has, amongst many other support ministries, a New Migrant Ministry to help new migrants settle well into their new environment as well as programs to serve the less privileged in our community. Our Locations We are currently located at two locations. Our office base is located at 15, Ellingworth Parade, Box Hill 3128 and our church base is located at 1, Kent Road, Surrey Hills 3127. What We Believe The Holy Trinity We believe in the eternally existing Trinity, God the FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT. In God, the Father who loves us with the tenderness and authority of a Father; in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, teachings, His atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven and the promise of His return to earth and the consummation of His Kingdom; in the Holy Spirit and His present ministry of rebirth, renewal and the current working of His spiritual gifts, eg. healing, prophecy, speaking in tongues, etc. Salvation Through Christ We believe that all mankind are made in the image of God but are sinners through the fall of Adam and Eve. Only repentance and faith in Jesus can restore us to fellowship with God. Salvation is by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. The Word of God We believe that the Bible is the fully inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice. We believe in the ordinances of Water Baptism and Holy Communion and in the "Apostles' Creed" as a statement of the fundamental truths of the Christian faith. Roland Seow loves being the senior pastor of this great church. It had been an amazing ride over the past 10 years. God has placed in his heart a desire to lead people to Christ. He has a passion for missions and family, and is a well sought after speaker in Asia. He is happily married to Evelyn and has 2 beautiful girls, Prisca and Chara.

YC came on staff with FGA Melbourne in 2000 as part of our Administration staff, but has successfully transitioned to lead our Adult Cells ministry for many years. A true pastor, with a strong pastoral gifting, Ps. YC oversees our Cell-based Ministries as well as our Discipleship Program (Life Journey). He is passionate about God’s transformational power, and its ability to transform our lives and our families. He’s married to Annie and has three children, Adora, Aviel and Aziel.

Chris has been at FGA Melbourne since its establishment, and has been on staff since 2002. Previously from a Corporate Strategy Consulting background, Chris is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School. Chris was our previous kids and youth pastor, overseeing over 150 young people who meet weekly in two radically different kids and youth services. He is now passionate about seeing the church bring to pass its 5 year plan to “Disciple 1,000”. Chris loves technology/multimedia, all things geeky and a good laugh. He's married to May Yen and has 3 lovely children, Rachel, Nicky and Grace

Kids Pastor: Sonja Loke

Sonja has been working with children ever since she was one herself. She has seen our kids ministry grow from 20 to 80, and has lead our work into schools, working closely with Doncaster Garden Primary and North Balwyn Primary as well as World Vision with their Kids Hope program. Sonja has also been in the core team for the 2006 Kidfest rally which saw thousands of kids gather together to hear the gospel. She is passionate about making God exciting and engaging.

Youth Pastor: Quentin Loke

Quentin started on staff leading a youth ministry of about 20. Since that time, the youth ministry has tripled, and our youth rallies under his direction have steadily increased their impact from 60 to 400 at last count. He can often be seen wandering around East Doncaster Secondary College and has a apssion for soccer and reaching young people for Christ.

Chinese Pastor: Shirley Ma

Shirley has been on staff since 2000, and has spearheaded a tremendous turn around in our Chinese service, making it into one of our most vibrant congrergations in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Currently doing her Doctorate in Theology, Shirley is an avid student of life and of God's word, and is passionate about reaching the various ethnic groups that have chosen to live in Melbourne.
