Philippines Medical Mission Trip
About PMMT
The Philippines Medical Mission Trip (PMMT) is an annual initiative organised by Full Gospel Assembly Melbourne (FGAM), serving communities in need since 2013. Each year, a dedicated team of Australian GPs, specialists, dentists, nurses, and non-medical volunteers travels to Manila, Philippines, providing free medical, dental, and optical care to thousands of people who would otherwise go without treatment.
Over the course of 10 days, the team serves in two impoverished communities, aiming to treat thousands of patients while also assessing and supporting the needs of a local orphanage. Every volunteer self-funds their trip, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly towards medications, medical consumables, hospital costs, eyeglasses, and vital clinic equipment.
All donations are tax-deductible, and every dollar makes a direct impact helping provide critical care to those who need it most.

PMMT 2026
In 2026, the Philippines Medical Mission Trip (PMMT) will bring together 80+ Australian volunteers, including GPs, specialists, dentists, nurses, chiropractors, and non-medical support staff, to provide free medical, dental, and optical care to underserved communities in Manila.
Over 10 days in early May, the team will set up temporary clinics across four impoverished communities, aiming to treat at least 5,000 patients, that's more than double last year’s outreach! The team will also visit and assess the needs of a local orphanage, providing support wherever possible.
Every volunteer personally covers the cost of their own travel and accommodation, ensuring that 100% of all donations go directly toward patient care. This includes medications, medical supplies, dental materials, eyeglasses, hospital referrals, and essential clinic equipment.
All donations are tax-deductible, and every contribution makes a tangible difference in the lives of people who would otherwise have little or no access to healthcare. To support the 2026 mission, we are aiming to raise $80,000 to fund these critical medical resources.
